Music Tournament - 4 Down, 64 To Go
Thanks once again to everyone who voted in Round 1. The field of 68 has been reduced to 64 and this is where the voting gets really important. The newest bands have had their play in, but now it's time for them to take on the bands and artists that have been around longer and have thus had more time to justify themselves as one of the decade's best.
This round no longer requires you leave each of your picks in the comments section, but please leave a comment with your thoughts on the match ups, which you thought were the hardest to choose, and which you thought were the most one-sided.
To place your votes, scroll down and you will find a handy survey utility. Everyone will only be allowed to vote once. For your reference, I have included links for each of the bands and artists listed. If you're unfamiliar with any of them, please click on their name and you will be directed to a YouTube video for one of their songs.

-I have tried to convince myself on no less than four occasions that I should like the Black Keys. And yet, I don't. (This also happened with Bolt Thrower and Napalm Death.)
-Every time I see a guy with an intentionally scraggly throwback haircut in a long coat singing about ennui or lost love or some other damn affecting thing, I want to find him and punch him. Keane is no exception.
-It's really tough for me to pick A7X over TCV, but I did. "Nightmare" is brilliant, and made bittersweet by the death of James Sullivan.
-I wish I had thought to suggest Saul Williams for the R&B/rap/hip-hop quadrant. Oh well.
-C'moooooon, Sword! The Sword is absolutely one of three prongs in the trident of American metal's resurgence. They're pushing the envelope in the revival of blues-based groove metal, A7X is taking the mainstream, and Lazarus AD (not featured) is taking speed metal to new places.
